These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Break Book app and website, provided by Alex Glover ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Break Book, you agree to these Terms.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Break Book on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded it from.
2. Purchases
Break Book is a one-time purchase. All payments and refunds are handled by the Apple App Store under its terms; we do not process payments directly.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, copy, resell or redistribute the app, interfere with its operation, or use it unlawfully. You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter.
4. The app is a guide, not a guarantee
Break Book provides estimates and historical reads to support your own judgement. GPS distances, break reads and statistics are approximate and depend on conditions, signal quality and the data you record. Always use your own judgement on the course. Break Book is not affiliated with the PGA Tour or any golf club or course; benchmark figures are for comparison only.
5. Intellectual property
The app, its design, branding and content are owned by us or our licensors. Map and satellite imagery belongs to the respective providers. You retain ownership of the data you create.
6. Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes & termination
We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. We may suspend or end the service, and you may stop using it at any time by deleting the app. Updated Terms take effect when posted.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
